Getting Around Beaverton

Beaverton, the fourth largest city in the Portland Metropolitan area offers a top notch transportation system to both residents and visitors.

The town is easily accessible from every direction. It is served by Highway 26 and Highway 217, and is only minutes from Interstate 5.

Portland International Airport is only 18 miles from the city. There are also other public-use airports nearby.

MAX Red Line is one of three light rail lines in Portland. It runs along a fixed track set into the ground and only stops at designated MAX stations and transit centers. MAX Red Line is 25.5 miles long (5.5 miles between Gateway Transit Center and Portland International Airport) and shares tracks and stations with MAX Blue Line between Gateway Transit Center and Beaverton Transit Center. The Beaverton Transit Center is located on Southwest Lombard Avenue north of Canyon Road. The adult ticket for all zones is $2.05.
