Colorado Springs Transportation

Colorado Springs Municipal Airport is a full-service airport, but small enough to be able to get in and out quickly. Recent renovations make it a very nice place to wait for an hour or two if you arrive early for your flight. Airport is located 11 miles from downtown Colorado Springs. Denver International Airport is located 80 miles north of Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs is located 70 miles south of Denver on Interstate I-25.

Getting around Colorado Springs is quite easy. For those who don't have vehicles, bus service is available throughout. Colorado Springs Passengers should contact Mountain Metropolitan Transit at 719-385-RIDE. There is also a Free Downtown Shuttle available from the Tejon Park and Ride.

Parking and roads are good, and some of the best attractions, such as the Garden of the Gods, are accessible only by car (or foot or bike for the truly ambitious).
