Getting In, Getting Around El Segundo

El Segundo may be a small community, but there's no shortage of ways to get here. In fact, few places can offer a location as well suited for the go-anywhere demands of business and industry. In a mere five-square-mile radius, area businesses have access to two major freeways, a light rail station, a bus depot and LAX.

El Segundo is immediately south of LAX and most hotels offer free shuttle transfers to and from the airport.

El Segundo is accessible by San Diego Freeway (I-405), Glenn Anderson Freeway (I-105) and State Highway #1.

The Metro Green Line runs along the eastern edge of El Segundo, with both Mariposa/Nash and El Segundo/Nash stations within city limits.

El Segundo is nice quiet place to stay if you want to roam around in the rest of LA during the day. With LAX airport in close proximity it is quite a comfortable place to stay. Call the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) at 213-626-4455 for a bus schedule.

The Lunch Time Shuttle operates on a continuous loop at approximately 10 minute intervals, with a dozen stops. Monday through Friday, 11:30 am until 2:15 pm.
