Hillsboro Information

Hillsboro is a community was founded in 1842 and was named Hillsborough in 1850; in 1876 the city was incorporated as Hillsboro. Located in the Tualatin Valley, the city is home to a number of technology companies such as microprocessor chip manufacturers and related suppliers, giving rise to the term Silicon Forest, which includes other high-tech employers in the region.

Family fun is almost guaranteed at the roller rink. This rink does what it can to bring families closer by offering family and home-school skate sessions. Admission is $4.75 for the 1p-5p sessions and skates are included. If you prefer in-line skates, rentals are $3 extra. For $10, a family of four can skate, but the parent is obligated to join in the fun.
