Long Beach is located in southern Los Angeles County, California, USA, on the Pacific coast. Aquarium of the Pacific

The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums in the United States. Almost 1,000 species fill 19 major habitats, 32 focus exhibits and take visitors on a journey throughout the Pacific Ocean's three regions: Southern California / Baja; the Tropical Pacific and the Northern Pacific. There are 12,500 animals to be seen. Exhibits include sharks, octopus, giant groupers, harbor seals, sea lions, giant Japanese spider crabs and many others.

Queen Mary
1126 Queens Highway, Long Beach, CA 90802
This elegant luxury liner, located just across the harbor from Aquarium of the Pacific, entered in service in 1936. Self-guiding tour takes you to the bridge, ward rooms, officer's quarters, engine rooms and upper decks. The guided tour takes guests to areas otherwise private to the general public. The 365 staterooms now serve as a hotel.

Museum of Latin American Art

MoLAA's mission is to educate the public about contemporary Latin American fine art (by artists who have lived and worked in Latin America since WWII) through the presentation of a significant permanent collection, dynamic exhibitions and related cultural and educational programs.

Rancho Los Alamitos

The history of this National Register site spans 1500 years. The 7.5 acres are composed of six agricultural buildings (including a working blacksmith shop), four acres of award-winning gardens and a sprawling adobe ranch house (built in c.1800). The barns area is home to numerous farm animals such as draft horses, sheep, goats and chickens.

El Dorado Nature Center

El Dorado Nature Center is an 85-acre wildlife area which includes two lakes, a stream, and 2 1/4 miles of trail through grasslands and forested areas. It is home to foxes, opossums, skunks, insects, turtles, and birds, and it offers different programs, including a variety of science discovery tours keyed to the California Science Framework, as well as free "Movable Museum" outreach programs.
