Getting In, Getting Around Richardson

With its proximity to North Central Expressway (U.S. 75) and DART light rail service, Richardson provides an easy commute to downtown, as well as to Plano and Addison.

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit authority (or DART) is a transit agency based in Dallas, Texas (USA) that operates buses, light rail (including an underground station), commuter rail, and HOV lanes in Dallas and 12 of its suburbs. It is the largest light rail operator in the state of Texas.

DFW Airport is one of the biggest and most impressive airports in the nation. As a major hub, DFW airport serves many major and regional air carriers. Ground Transportation Information boards to Dallas, Fort Worth and area hotels are located near baggage claim areas inside all airport terminals. Taxicab service is available at designated areas along upper-level curbside exits. Other ground transportation is available at the lower levels. Ground transportation between the Airport and metroplex area destinations are provided by numerous companies.

From Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (approx. 28 miles): take the North Exit from the airport (4 miles), merge onto I-635 East (17 miles), get on US-75 North (4 miles). Richardson encompasses the next five exits off US-75.

From Dallas Love Field (Approx. 20 miles): after exiting the airport, turn left onto W. Mockingbird Lane (3 miles), turn left onto the Dallas North Tollway North ramp. (6 miles), merge right onto 1-635 East. (4 miles), get on US -75 North (4 miles). Richardson encompasses the next five exits off US-75.
