Bern's Steak House in Tampa, Florida offers very fine dining as well as service at the highest level. Those wishing to dine at Bern's will want to make reservations quite a ways in advance. The restaurant recommends making reservations at least two weeks in advance, and they accept reservations as much as three months in advance. Diners may also request that their favorite waiter serve them while at the restaurant, and wine's may be chosen in advance of dining utilizing the assistance of one of the restaurant's three sommeliers. Diners should also note that Bern's has a dress code of at least business casual attire, and they prefer a jacket and tie or formal dress. The menu at Bern's has an abundance of choices. Appetizers include escargot, oysters and scallops. They are also numerous beef, chicken and lamb entrees on the menu as well. Bern's claim to fame is steak available in any cut and in almost any size and thickness. Bern's is also famous for its wine selection reaching into the thousands of bottles.

Mise en Place is noted for its modern, American cuisine. Diner's have the option of trying the chef's tasting menu consisting of a five course sampling chosen at the chef's discretion. There is also a wine pairing option available with the tasting menu. First course options include such items as tuna carpaccio and soft shell crabs. Second courses include scallops and L.A. pizza as well as heirloom tomato salad. Main course offerings include duck and venison in addition to more traditional fish, chicken and beef entrees. A separate menu is available for those who wish to relax in the restaurant's bar and take their meal there.

Opened in 1905, the Columbia Restaurant boasts itself as Tampa's oldest restaurant. The restaurant caters to the needs of diners by offering a gluten-free menu and a separate children's menu for families dining out together. Columbia's is noted for its extensive assortment of beverages especially its mojitos made with the restaurant's own private label rum. Diners may start their meal with a Cuban black bean soup or with one of the many salads on the menu. Columbia's offers an array of tapas and specializes in paellas made in a variety of combinations. After enjoying an outstanding entree, deserts ranging from flan to Godiva chocolate cake are available.
