From the North: Tri-State Tollway (I-94) south to Townline Road (Rte. 60). Townline Road west. From the South: Milwaukee Avenue (Rte. 21) north to Townline Road (Rte. 60). From the East: West on Townline Road (Rte. 60) From the West: Route 22 east to Milwaukee Ave. (Rte. 21). North on Milwaukee Ave. to Townline Road (Rte. 60). From the Northwest: Route 12 east to Route 60.

A variety of car rental options are available: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz and National are all represented at the airport. They are located on the lower level near baggage reclaim in Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Many companies at the airport offer free shuttle buses to pick-up and drop-off areas. No car hire companies are available in Terminal 5, although courtesy telephones are available on the lower level of the terminal and can be used to book a car.

The Chicago Transit Authority offers public transportation services in the city. The buses, trains, subways and the famous elevated trains cover Chicago and 40 suburbs. A one ride card for bus or rail is $1.75. Passes are available for one day, 7 days or 30 days. A 7-day pass costs $20. Visitor passes are also available. A 1-Day Visitor Pass is $5. Children, seniors and disabled people receive discounts. Metra also offers public transportation services through the rail system. Fares are convenient and depend on the zones you travel within.
