Virginia Beach Boardwalk
One of the most visited sites in Virginia Beach is the 28 mile wide boardwalk that runs along the length of the beach. The boardwalk is divided into designated lanes for people walking, biking or rollerblading. Along the boardwalk, there are a number of various monuments and statues honoring historical figures and events that are related to the area. Visitors can check out the many nearby shops and restaurants as well as fish off the boardwalk piers.

Military Aviation Museum
The Military Aviation Museum is an outdoor musuem that showcases a vast collection of aircraft from WWI and WWII. From bombers to fighter planes, visitors can admire these beautiful aircraft vehicles that have been restored to their former glory. Flight demonstrations and air shows are performed here at various times throughout the year.

First Landing State Park
The First Landing State Park is the site where English colonists first landed in 1607 before settling at Jamestown. Today, covering nearly 3,000 acres of beaches, hiking trails and cypress swamps, the park offers many outdoor recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy biking, hiking, canoeing, swimming, camping, bird watching and wildlife viewing.

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center
Housing 12,000 animals that are represented by 700 different species, the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center offers huge, beautiful tanks of aquatic creatures from various fish species to sharks and barracudas. The center also features several diverse habitats from around the world where visitors can experience the plants and animals that are native to each of these habitats. Additionally, the center offers a bird aviary that shelters thirty different species of birds. There are several hands-on activities where visitors can encounter and touch animals like sting rays and horseshoe crabs. Visitors can also watch amazing films in the IMAX theater.

Hunts Club Farm
Hunts Club Farm offers a whole afternoon of fun for the family. At this huge petting farm, guests can meet a wide variety of farm animals like donkeys, sheep, miniature horses, peacocks, pot belly pigs, rabbits and much more. The farm offers numerous activities such as feeding animals, pony rides, hay rides, picnic tables and a playground.

Old Cape Henry Lighthouse
The Old Cape Henry Lighthouse features two lighthouses, old and new, standing next to each other. Visitors can explore the area to learn the history of the lighthouses and climb to the top to glimpse stunning views.
